Schedule your workouts<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With no risk of getting charged a \u201clate cancellation\u201d fee as you would at the studio, it\u2019s easy to put off exercising at home, or worse, not doing it at all. Adding \u201cworkout\u201d as a task on your to-do list and setting a specific time each day to get it done will create some accountability and push you to be consistent.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After you\u2019ve tried a few <a href=\"https:\/\/flexhk.com\/blog\/what-is-the-right-pilates-class-for-you\/\">classes<\/a> and have a better handle on what you like, you can <\/span><a href=\"mailto:info@flexhk.com\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ask the studio<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to sign you up for recurring classes so that you\u2019re booked in advance every single week or class occurrence. Create a designated workout area<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Having a designated space will help you get in the zone and allow you to make the most out of your workouts. Divest it of clutter and neatly store your workout gear and mat all in that space. Set up the sound system where and how you like it with all the accessories if you like to listen to music during class while you\u2019re on mute. For yogis add candles, incense sticks, the works! Whatever helps you to get in the zone, literally and figuratively. The space doesn\u2019t have to be massive\u2014as long as you have enough room to extend your arms and legs without being restricted, you\u2019re good to go!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>3. Work with what you have at home<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You don\u2019t need fancy equipment to get a great workout in. Trust us when we say that a <a href=\"https:\/\/flexhk.com\/blog\/lifestyle\/the-importance-of-pilates-mat\/\">mat<\/a> and towel are enough to achieve a killer sweat session! Of course, getting creative with what you have at home is always welcome. For instance, a bottle of water or a can of beans make great alternatives for weights; or thick books for blocks.
